In the Grip of Grace by Max Lucado. "Inspirational writer Max Lucado takes you on a journey toward understanding God's unbelievable gift called grace. Through moving stories and powerful insights from the book of Romans, Lucado answers the tough questions we've all asked."

The Journey of Desire and The Sacred Romance both by John Eldridge. Check them out. They are both very good.

Hate Books? Here are some good movies and reviews.

"Jesus" (1979) by Randolph productions. This is not the schmaltzy 2000 miniseries. This movie is based on the Book of Luke and gives a great visual to the life of Jesus. If you can't find it, go here.

"Jesus Christ Superstar" (1973) This musical is based on the Book of Mark. While it is not entirely accurate and won't give you many answers, it will raise questions and give you something to think about.
